Beyond Regional Framework of Governance in Europe: Self-Government and Sovereignty

This event is the first of a two part series that will explore and analyse European cases of self-government, democracy and devolution.
The debate will explore strategies in three different national, social and institutional contexts in Europe: Representatives from Sinn Féin (Ireland) Plaid Cymru (Wales) and O Bloque (Galiza) will share experiences and know how of social mobilization and community engagement practices that have enabled advances in self-government, national recognition and political development of sovereignty movements.
Bringing together representatives from three of Europe’s leading sovereignty movements, the round table offers a comparative look at how these have advanced their political aspirations.
